FOUR WHEEL DRIVE EQUIPMENT SDN. BHD. (4WD) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Winch Distributor Sdn.Bhd., and was established in 1989 with the intention to undertake the role of being the First Malaysian company in South East Asia to market all the World's renowned 4x4 equipment, accessories and also serve as a One-Stop center for the complete range of 4x4 equipment, accessories and products.

Being the Pioneer in the 4x4 equipment and accessories industry, Four Wheel Equipment Sdn. Bhd. had the first choice to market and represent only the World's best and Number 1 product brands in 4x4 equipment and accessories for examples: - WARN, ARB, OLD MAN EMU, AMERICAN RACING, EXPLORER PRO COMPETITION, OPTIMA, SAFARI, CENTERFORCE, BORLA and many other which are all World's renowned brands of 4x4 products. From a humble beginning the company grew steadily to be the biggest 4x4 shop in Malaysia in the early 90's and then from the year 2000 the company further expanded to become ASIA's biggest 4x4 equipment and accessories warehouse distributor, stockist and retailer until today. 4WD over the years also successfully set up a network of 62 dealers and sub-distributors throughout every major towns and cities in both East and West Malaysia as our retail distribution outlets as well as our products back-up and after service centers in Malaysia.

The Headquater of 4WD is now permanently located at our own land and premises at Lot 1, Jalan Utas 15/7 , Section 15, 40200 Shah Alam, Selangor which is 20 kilometer away from the Kuala Lumpur city center. Our headquater has two blocks of 2 and 3 storeys buildings and a warehouse at the rear portion all together totalling 25,500 sq. feet of land with a total built-up space of plus another 8,500 sq. ft of vehicles parking space. Our move from the Kuala Lumpur city center to Shah Alam is because of the convenient next-door location to many of the O.E.M. vehicle assembly plants like Ford Malaysia, Toyota Malaysia, Land Rover Malaysia, Daihatsu Malaysia, Volvo Malaysia, Mazda Malaysia which are all in the same vicinity.

The company also has it own specialist 4x4 vehicle service and installation workshop providing professional 4x4 vehicle overhaul & maintenance services as well as equipment and accessories installations by our own in-house trained specialists. We also have mobile teams of specially trained technician to service and repair all Warn electrical whinches throughout Peninsula Malaysia. Our winch services and repairs team is the one and only fully authorized service back-up of Warn winches approved by the U.S. Manufacturer for Malaysia providing product back-up and genuine spare parts.
