 |
The Emu is a flightless Australian bird, but its powerful legs allow it to dash over severe terrain with consummate ease - they absorb most of the impact while its body remains all but motionless. This is what Old Man Emu aims for with its range of fully integrated 4x4 suspension systems.
Suspension sag, handling problems and an uncomfortable ride are common concerns for vehicle owners with standard suspension. OME addresses these problems by developing suspension systems that cater for specific vehicle characteristics. We do this via our renowned team of engineers, who design and test every element of the suspension system - a practice unique to OME.
By installing a fully integrated 4x4 suspension system, we can dramatically improve the safety and handling of your vehicle. |

New MX-6TM |
 |
It’s a true breakthrough in truck shock absorber technology. The new design combines the light weight, incredibly fast dampening response and superb ride comfort of Monotube shocks with 6-way external adjustability! For decades, the world’s leading automobile manufacturers have used monotube shocks on their finest machines; Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren and Mercedes, just to name a few. Now this amazing technology is available for your Jeep, SUV, light truck or 4x4. You can take on the toughest terrain by day with complete control and then cruise home in total comfort, all with a simple click of the MX-6’s external adjustment knob. |

Custom Tuned Six Position Versatility
Unlike ordinary Twin-Tube shocks that use “one valve fits all” tuning approach, each MX-6 is precision engineered and custom valved for your vehicles. This maximizes suspension performance, vehicle stability and ride comfort. There are applications available for most popular Jeeps, Pickups and SUVs, including lifted vehicles and HD models. The MX-6’s Inverted mounting design reduces un-sprung weight, protects the shock body from damage allowing ease of fitment and clearance in high performance and late model vehicle applications. Take the final step up to quality, precision and maximum adjustability with MX-6, from the suspension experts at Explorer Pro Comp! |

ES1000 HYDRAULIC |
 |
The ES1000 performance series shock absorber is designed to replace the factory shock and provides optimum performance enhancing driving comfort and vehicle control. To provide a superior seal for the S-924 high temperature shock fluid, a multilip, spring tensioned rod seal is used. The ES1000 includes a black poly-vinyl boot engineered to shield the large 5/8" chrome hardened piston rod from the elements, which in turn prolongs the life of the shock. Utilizing a 1 3/8" nylon banded full displacement piston head and double welded shock mounts, the ES1000 assures strength and long lasting durability for even the most demanding of driving conditions. |

| SUSPENSION SYSTEM |
| |
 |
STAGE 1 SUSPENSION SYSTEM
Pro Comp Stage 1 systems are engineered to improve on conventional suspension design by enhancing on and off-road comfort and control. These kits provide an increase in height from 2" - 6" for larger tires and increased ground clearance, and are what Pro Comp would consider "industry standard". Pro Comp suspension systems include all necessary hardware for installation plus detailed instructions. All components are either power-coated with Pro Comp's exclusive Hammertone Grey, zinc plated, or epoxy dipped for protection from the elements. |
| |
|
 |
STAGE 2 SUSPENSION SYSTEM
Pro Comp Stage 2 systems are a new generation of performance suspension systems and accessories. They possess the basic characteristics of the Stage 1 systems, as well as, going above and beyond the "industry standard". Because Stage 2 systems are designed to drive, look, last and perform better than any product in their class. These suspension systems are "system engineered" to work alone or to be combined with their Stage 2 accessory counterparts. Stage 2 accessories consist of pro runner light bars, skid plated, front and rear multiple shock kits and lateral trac bars. Each of these components are a must have whether you consider yourself an extreme off-roader, show competitor or every day cruiser. |

STEERING STABILIZER |
| |
 |
The ES2000 steering stabilizer systems are specifically engineered to improve handling characteristics and reduce wheel vibration, which leads to suspension component fatigue and failure. Available in single or double shock configurations, the stabilizing system are designed help reduce bump steer problems caused by oversized tires and/ or rough roads.

| LATERAL TRAC BARS |
| |
 |
Race style, double tube design delivers the first even functional and great looking traction bar system engineered for use of both on and off-road. While most traction bars are designed to only reduce axle wrap up, Pro Comp Lateral Trac Bars are designed to allow suspension articulation as well. Our exclusive reverse hourglass shaped urethane bushings afford the stability needed, while allowing the trac bar to flex for optimum articulation. Most popular applications are engineered to accommodate twin Pro Comp ES3000 shock absorbers. With the addition of this Shock Option Kit, greater suspension dampening is added to the rear axle. LTB's by Pro Comp, true performance and looks!
Lateral Trac Bars mounts securely up front to the vehicle's chassis and include all necessary hardware. At the rear axle, the LTB's mounting plate is positioned between the axle spring plate and leaf assembly. This mounting system results in a secure installation while losing no valuable ground clearance as common in most "street" traction bar kits.

MULTIPLE SHOCK KITS |
| |
 |
Pro Comp's Multiple Shock Systems are designed to accommodate the needs of the aggressive off-roader, vehicles destined to carry heavy loads, and to add great looks. Quality design and material assure years of trouble-free performance while adding show quality detail to your vehicle. Our multiple shock systems shown are "top of the line", simple and feature clean bolt on installation. Contrary to common belief these systems produce a controlled, yet very comfortable ride. Multiple Shock Systems no longer necessarily mean a stiff ride. |

 |
BRAKELINE KITS |
| |
 |
Stainless Steel Brake Line Kits are designed to replace stock rubber brake hoses on vehicles with increased ride heights of 4" - 6". Steel braided lines will not swell under increased braking pressure demanded by larger tires, thus delivering a quick and positive response. All Pro Comp stainless hoses comply with D.O.T. specifications and are packed as complete kits for the front and rear of vehicles. NOTE: Although extended length hoses are necessary on many suspension kit installations, labor should be performed by a certified brake mechanic only. Care must be taken to assure no interference of moving parts is encountered, as well as, proper routing and length is used to eliminate any possibility of bind throughout steering and suspension cycles. |

| |
 |
| LIMIT STRAPS |
| |
 |
Heavy-duty nylon straps help protect off-road suspension systems by preventing over-extension of suspension components. Most commonly, a limit strap is approximately ½" to 1" shorter than the full extension of the suspension and is mounted to the upper and lower shock eyebolts. For other custom applications, a 9/16" mounting hole is provided for a secure and simple installation. Limit straps are sold as pairs and are available in a variety of lengths. |
